Perhaps you should pierce a hole in the can first and do not cover it with boiling water, but to come somewhere half way up. I do not like the idea of a sealed tin in boiling water.

I do not think your shoes would stand half a chance of staying on in the event of an explosion! Fire brigade would probably charge you for sevices rendered, whether you are dead or alive for such an irresponsible act as boiling a sealed can!

An expensive tin of hamburgers. Good luck. I shall be watching out for you on the news!

A can of hamburgers? Yes, love, take your shoes off and don't forget to open the can before you serve the hamburgers.

Well, I believe that the construction of the sentence is wrong.....does sound hilarious if you follow it literally.

However, for all canned or tinned food, it's advisable to place the can in a pot of water and boil it for a minimum of 5 minutes so that the contents will be warmed up.
Happy eating

Change your shoes to Wellie boots, as an extra precaution I would wear a snorkel if I were you, we can't be too careful what we are opening today.

At least you have good instructions.

Please don't try this at home kids.

Good luck my friend - stand well back. xxxx

LOL! Heck, why not risk it and take those shoes off?

Ever notice the label on treated lumber from Home Depot says "Do not consume"? I guess we can eat their untreated lumber.

Depends how deep the water is.

If it's over 3 feet deep, the last thing you will be worried about are your feet :o)
