Do like that guy in the movie "Animal House". If she's looking at cucumbers or some other similar shaped vegetable, walk over and pick up a larger one then turn to her and say "Mine's bigger." "When she says "What?" show her the cucumber you picked up and say "My cucumber, it's bigger than yours".
Hopefully that will be a good ice breaker.

i wouldnt approach a strange person , i would walk the other way. But it you mean you are interested in this girl , just walk up one day and say hi how are you my name is ...... whats yours ?
