I am counting on that happening. I am hoping I will meet up with some of my loved ones that have passed on that left here too soon and that I will be able to still be able to be around them and have some more time with them.

Yes there is. You either go to Heaven a place God has prepared for us if we accept him into our lives now. Then try to live like Jesus. Heaven has many mansions.

Or you will go to hell. Eternal torment that you don't get used to.

I know you will get alot of different answerer's, So If I were you. I wouldn't take my chances, I'll just get my life right with God today. So if then you will go to heaven.

But just say you take the chance and believe that there is not life after death. Then you would be spending your time around doing nothing and especially not getting to know God. Then when you die you will not have a chance to go to heaven. So if I were you I wouldn't take my chances.

When a person becomes a Christian and is born again he has conquered death and has everlasting life. Jesus proved this by dying and rising again from the dead. When a Christian breathed his last on this earth his spirit will go to be with Jesus to be a part of the cloud of witnesses and to await the receipt of a new body made from heaven on Jesus' second coming. There is no death for a Christian he falls asleep in Christ.

Based on islamic teaching there is a life after death.God spoke in the Qur'an that after death all souls will be in the waiting room called alam barzah. After the resurrection day,God will conduct the final and fair judge for everyone and we will witness our good doings and bad doings during our lives in this world.God will separate us into heaven for humans who have much good doings and believe in God and into hell for humans who have much bad doings and do not believe in God.In the heaven they will be rewarded by everything we need as rewards and in the hell will be tortures as punishment.

Not for me. What I do believe is that you continue to live as long as there is someone who still remembers you; someone who will say "Your Gt. granny Veronica, used to ......."
It's what I love about television programmes like "Who do you think you are" - the long gone ancestors are being given a chance of a second life and are now immortalised on printed Family Trees.
The only other life after death for me is the knowledge that I still carry DNA from ancestors who lived 20,000 years ago, so they "live" on.

I go with Ruchjat K...

Well, I'm actually going to speak from my religion's perspective... When you die, you don't actually "die" and see blackness forever, in fact when you are placed in your grave, you will remain as your body and your soul will go to the heavens, you can actually see and hear whoever goes close to your grave, so when they talk to you, you can see them clearly, but you can't respond back...
If you are a believer of god, then you wouldn't have to wait a long time in your calm grave before you get resurrected back with your soul, you would feel that you stayed waiting for just 5 minutes approx. before the actual day of judgment where you will be judged, and be eventually placed in either Heaven or Hell, the eternal life.. And if you are a non-believer, then your grave would be tight and it would be a torture chamber for you, and you will actually wait every single second before you get resurrected, so if you die 1500 years ago, then you would wait 1500 and more years before your Resurrection...

And think about it, "Eternal" might not seem as the eternal we know of in this life...

I believe there is, but that is just my opinion. How I have been raised and taught is that after we die we either go to heaven to be with our Father or to Hell to be with satan. Have you read the bible? My understanding is there is life after death.

:)

Yes... after you death, you will be separated with the world you know today, there will be a wall between (barzakh). In other word, something of you is still in space and time dimension plus what we can call it as barzakh dimension.
