Did I Cheat On Him or Not at all?

Okay here's the story.. I started talking to a friend over the phone but I never met him becuz he lives in another state. We became friends and began to really like each other. Even though we never met we agreed that we are boyfriend and girlfriend. We sent each other pics and letters for a while, but I really wanted to see him. But everytime I ask he always said he will but never showed up.Recently he decided that he wanted to be in the army. I didn't wanna talk him out of it becuz it was something he always wanted to do. But I still cldnt help the fact that he was so far away and I cldnt see him, and he cldnt see me. After a while he stopped calling for a while, the letters stopped showing up and I didn't speak to him for weeks to months at a time. So eventually I got tired of waitng and got with someone else. He is so hurt now, becuz he says I cheated, But I don't really know if its called cheatin cuz I never really went out with him. What do u think?

common girl, you never actually met the guy! & how many times have you tried to meet him up but he never showed up? you've moved on so just don't mind him now.

You never even met him, so how could you be going out with him in the first place. In the second place, he did not contact you for long periods of time with no explanation. Move on and forget this jerk. If he stood you up that many times, he is probably lying about something he said to you anyway. Maybe he is butt ugly or too old for you, and he is hiding it.
