1. You should probably only be putting eye drops in if your doctor told you to. Visine is only for if your eyes are irritated. If it doesn't make your eyes feel better, quit using it.

2. The first few days with your contacts it is normal to have some irritation. Don't panic.

3. Mine never did that so I have no idea.

4. It means you need to ask your eye doctor. It sounds strange. Maybe you are allergic to your contacts?

Have you ever noticed how many questions in this optical forum that involve contacts?

The reason for that is....eyeballs do not want or like contacts. They just barely tolerate them. We keep trying to get 'better' substances, higher refractive plastics, silicone, mixtures, different shapes, weighted ones, colored ones for the people who feel that want some OTHER color than they have, and on and on and on... That's why you're having problems with contacts. Your eyes don't WANT them, YOU do. And they're complaining. So you are going to have to go through the same learning curve as the rest of the contact lens wearers do and get 'used' to them.

Then after you've had them for a long time, your corneas will become vascularized, you get recurrent ulcers and infections, get tired of that, then decide to get some sort of LASIK or LASEK or ? surgery....

I'll stop....

Your fourth question sounds like a vagal reflex where you just about faint, but not quite, then recover. I'd love to go through the physiology of that, but just figure it's a faint thing.

1) i dont know, i dont use it
2) yes, your eyes will probably take a while to get used to them, if possible try to start out having them in for like 4-6 hours at a time for a couple days, then 8-10, and so on.
3) leave em alone, try not to scratch your eyes when they itch, if the itching is too bad see your eyedoctor.
4) dont know, thats pretty weird
