Abslutely Not! The only reason you would think such a thing is because sexism is institutionalized through Patriarchy and Capitalism. Women are taught to hide thier sexualities, when you really should embrace it. So, no, there is certainly nothing wrong with a girl asking a boy out. Be who you are, not what you are taught to be.

Not necessarily. I heard it explained this way one time, and it made a lot of sense to me. Whatever your dating relationship is like, that's what your marriage will be like. So if you're the kind of girl who always wants the husband to take the lead, you should let him ask out. But if you'd like the kind of relationship where both people have the right to initiate things, maybe you should be willing to ask. By this system, if you're willing to ask and he's not into it, maybe he's not the kind of guy you want.

no it's not wrong at all, however a girl will often not do it, because of fear of rejection, women are less able to adapt to rejection than men are, so we usually don't and wait for the guy to do the asking, but no there's nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out

no. its not wrong for them to do so. what makes it wrong is how you give meaning to it. if you give malice that would make it wrong. if you are referring to dating, a date should not always be a romantic one or something inclined to getting into a relationship. people are social beings and no one is an island. a girl asking you out may like to know more about you that's she would ask you out. won't you do the same if you want to know more about somebody?

Times have changed..If you know the guy, and really like him..Ask him out..Don't stand on ceremony..Just do it!
Once in a while it's good to deviate from the norm..

Heck no.but I wouldn't make it a habit of it.
Guys like to be in charge (they think) and asking a girl out is part of the role.
But once in awhile it is ok for the girl to ask, I think.
