I AM!!! and I'm proud to say i am, I am very much out of the "broom closet" i am one who has her " The Witch is in" sign p all year...lol i have been studying this path since i was 16. my parents were "religion bouncers" meaning they could not make up their minds what religion they were. started out as catholic, then baptist, then native American, Mormon was in there some where too. I decided to find my own path, where i belonged. I love my craft, it is not just a religion to me, its a way of life. I live and breath it every day. teach my children, and counsel my coven. this is a very rewarding and loving path.

Why do you need to know - are you writing a book or something? My religious choice is a personal choice. I do not reveal it lightly - and definitely not in a public forum such as this.

That being said... I am not a "witch" or any other variation of such a label. Suffice to say that I am not a "Christian", as the term is understood in today's Society. I have formed my beliefs over the past decades of my life, through the many experiences I have lived through over those decades. They may - or may not - coincide with the various beliefs of other religious views, but they are not so different as may be thought. I am willing to respect the views of others, so long as others respect my views as well; when my views are not given the respect I give to the views of others, all bets are off. My family and friends already know my views on the topic of Organized Religion - tolerance, compassion, love, etc. - of any kind, so...I suppose that I have "come out of the closet".

If you are not able to accept this as an answer, so be it.

Witch no.
Pagan yes. Norse Heathen to be exact.
Um, I dunno if I am "out" or not. LOL If someone asks, I tell them, but no one has really asked me of late. Most have no idea what Mjolnir is, which is the necklace I wear, so they don't associate it with faith.
My beliefs are of the Norse gods, my values are home, hearth, and kin. The gods are our Elder Kin, we are their literal ancestors. We are known as Asatru, Heathen, Theodist, and Odinist (Though these are paths with in Asatru and can be considered separate). We follow the virtues as laid out in the Hovamol and some adhere to the Nine Noble Virtues (pretty much same concept just condensed). We believe in heritage over universalism aka, this ain't meant for everyone. You either hear the gods or you don't and we don't much care either way. It's a philosophy, a culture, a belief system and a religion.

Hail the Gods

I'm a witch, although that has nothing to do with religion, in my opinion. I was a witch long before I found religion. Beliefs? Well, use magick carefully. Like any of the elements, it is useful when used carefully, dangerous when not.

As far as religion, I'm Germanic Heathen and it would take lots of books to explain our beliefs!

I am Pagan.

Pagan is a term used as an umbrella to hold many other religions underneath it like Wicca, Hinduism, Buddhism, bascially anything other than main stream organized religion.

I say I am a "Crafter". My step sister identifies with "Witch".

I guess it all depends on your individual preference.

And yes - I have "came out" of the "broom closet".
lol

Brightest Blessings.
