I mean I understand everything spanish speakers say and they understand. we never have a problem of communication. I need help!!! advice!!! please

To answer you about: Spanish is so important in the US.

Well it all depends on what state you want to live, Any state closest to the border; like CA, AZ, NM, TX it’s highly recommend knowing Spanish. I wouldn’t worry too much on the eastern side; except Florida but it’s good to know it anyways.

I live in Hawaii and where I live Japanese and Chinese is highly recommended here.
Spanish is a waste of time here, even though I am Spanish.

If you continue on falling asleep and can’t deal with the classes you are wasting your time and money. Then you answered your own question

I personally believe if you want to learn on your own and have the motivation for it, you will accomplish it but you will struggle if you don’t educate yourself the right way.

Here are some ways

Go to Craigslist.org
Click on the state you are currently living on
Scroll down until you see services
And click lesson there should be a list of tutors

Or here’s another way
Get this tool it’s the best tool in the world click the link below http://www.franklin.com/estore/dictionary/SIB-1870/

Electronic English/Spanish Dictionary. If you can’t pronounce words this electronic dictionary will pronounce it for you and correct your grammar for you. It’s the best tool trust me.

It’s pricey but cheaper then classes, and driving to classes if you live far from school.

While using this device read Spanish books if you can’t pronounce the words pull the electric dictionary and it will correct you. Write it down it will download more in your head and practice writing sentences. Get lots and lots of Spanish books reading, writing?
Get them used,
it’s cheaper that way,

ebay, or half.com, amazon.com.

Or you can find a Spanish course online

Hope this helps

By the way excuse my grammar

Continue to take the Spanish class, and if after the class you don't feel confident with it, use a good program, like Rosetta Stone, to teach yourself.
