To create evil, even a God must know evil. Therefore in creating evil your God deliberately created pain, sin, and the dirty dark sadistic part of himself as a personified being.

I will assume to begin with that you are speaking about the Biblical devil and Biblical God.

To answer the question simply, we know Biblically that God created everything, including the Angels. The devil came to be after he (being an Angel) tried to place himself in God's throne and power.

So, because he the traitor to "the crown" and he was created, he cannot be the reverse side of God.

No..

God is all powerful.. And good..

The Devil is limited, damned and beneath/much much much lesser than God in every way..

Read the section of the New Testament which describes the Devil tempting Christ.. The Devil could not make Christ do anything.. The Devil is limited, much much lesser..

No the devil is a rebellious creation of god. You know the devil is somewhat like a 40 year old virgin that lives in his mothers basement and smokes pot & fights with his daddy. In the back of my mind I have always imagined god sporting a mullet.
