I had a dream where there are two ants reading a large book. One ant is reading faster than the other ant and turns the page before the other is ready. The slower reading ant turns the page back, infuriating the faster reading ant. The pages begin to fly back and forth as these two ants rage about which page to read. I wake up in a panicky state. I have had this dream at least one thousand times.

You need to buy another book, one for the slower ant. If you don't, the ant will grow up with low self-esteem because he was always the little ant that could not keep up. Look for one age appropriate. Also, be sure the older ant does not get into your personal library. You must protect them until they are older.
Sure, you say it's a dream, but who do you think the popo is going to be talking to when they have a serial killer ant on the lam?

Ants represent social workings. So the tension of two social beings who have to work in a group effort not being on the same page (sorry for the pun) is manifesting in this dream. It has to do with the conflicts that a gifted or advanced person will have when having to work in a group with others.

What a delightful dream!
It sounds as if you are in school and don't feel quite up to the task of learning at times. Books impart knowledge, and the book in your dream being large implies there is a lot of knowledge to pick up on. Ants are social creatures, so they probably indicate your classmates or teachers in school. So, it sounds as if you are feeling overwhelmed at times by all the things you need to learn and just want everyone to slow down so you can catch up. Or, you are a fast learner and want everyone else to catch up. You are frustrated and angry that you can't move ahead because you have to wait on the others.
If you aren't in school, then it would probably indicate that you feel team members in your work group are hindering your progress, learning or understanding.
Hope this helped.

As I'm not qualified to offer mental health advice, this is all speculation on my part.

The ants are fighting. They're fighting over speed. One's going faster than the other, could this be your mind's interpretation of your life?

Perhaps you're one of the ants.

Is someone pushing you in life? Trying to get you to do something that you're not ready for? Or maybe you're the other ant. Someone in your life is moving too slow for you, and you want them to speed up.

Think hard about your life, what situation you're in and who influences you the most, and I think you can get the ants to hold hands in the end. :)

I've had that dream a thousand times myself. I found out it was just a bickering married couple. I suggested they get a divorce and go their separate ways. Proceedings have begun but they are having trouble with the custody rights of their 12,324 kids......thanks for the laugh
