Hypertension in and of itself does not make someone angry.
Knowing that one has a condition in which lifestyle changes are of great importance is a probable cause of the anger. Being angry will only worsen the condition by causing the heart to pump blood at a faster rate thereby creating more pressure against the walls of the arteries. But to answer your question, I would have to say no. Having high blood pressure physiologically does not cause someone to be angry a lot. Like I stated, the required lifestyle changes are most likely the cause of anger. Hope this helped. Remember that a healthy, low sodium, low fat diet is very important along with exercise and not smoking are the typical recommendations. As well as adhering to medication regiments per doctors orders.

Best of luck,

Lisa

Thats hilarious. This myth is widespread only amongst laymans, who do not have an inkling of what High BP means.High BP has no connection whatsoever with getting angry. Then it boils down that people with low BP are real COOL.The human emotions like sadness, anger, fear, cheerfulness have nothing to do with diseases like Blood Pressure. This misconception is mostly prevalent in Asian region

Sometimes high blood pressure can cause fits of anger; but if you're having anger problems then it would be wise to talk with a professional about this.
