I researched all attacks and arguments made against Islam. All the answers to them made clear sense.

In islam, there is nothing called "You understand when you believe" or "You just have to believe"

NO!!!
The only reason I become muslim because I was forced to think when I read the Qur'an, when I didn't understand I was challenged by the question : What do I think , instead of just a blind explanation.

I was forced to be a christian, I was forced to accept Jesus is God, I was forced to accept holy spirit is God.
Christianity , Bible is a dogma, I might not ask question using a word WHY .
I HATE That.
If as a teens I hate that way of teaching, I cant imagine if now i have to face the same thing again. Maybe I get sick and formit.

So the answer is NO!! Even until today, only by opening your mind, your thought, your logic, you follow Qur'an's teaching. I am an engineer and have a Master degree.
So for sure all aspect of my life require me to think.

Your question is not clear and i dont know in which point i should answer it. i am a Christian and have learn in a school which i am the only non-muslim student there. I learn about the Islam Religion for 6 years. I'm still studying in University and currently living at my friends family house which is also a Muslim. As far as i'm concern they do not as you say ' Close their half mind' and is very likely as moderate as other religion.

First message of Islam is "READ".

I think learning is not possible with half closed brains. Muslims were the scientists and leaders of the learned until they were following Quran. When they left Quran they are left behind the world and people are laughing at them despite not being on mistake.

I am not sure what a half mind is, but I am not sure if any religion says in their tenets to close their minds. It just naturally happens when someone joins any large group with a single purpose in common....your mind closes to other ideas from the outside. Is this what you meant?

There can be fanaticism and stupidity amongst all religions which is far away from the actual messages. The intolerant brand of Islam that you see is nothing but an oppressive tool used by actually power hungry rulers. And it will not survive because people, as throughout history, will wise up and will revolt against it. Hopefully !

As a Muslim, you have to stop standing in judgement over others and leave creation to the creator.

If half your mind is occupied with deciding who goes to heaven and who goes to hell, if half your mind is occupied with attacking other religions in ignorance and hatred, if half your mind is occupied in promoting stereo types rather than seeking truth, understanding and salvation, then yes, shut that half off.

nope. in fact, some of the most open minded people I know are Muslims. They are actually willing to reinterpret their religion, which is more than I can say of the majority of christians that i know.

Half wouldn't do at all,as the vacant half can still think logically and make a person to act rationally.Even a full mind wouldn't do as nobody is sure of mental images embedded in it.The only sure shot way is when one gets a Mind(a mind set) from a Mullah or an Imam, which is prerecorded and is hermetically sealed, to protect it from any ingress of an outside idea, what ever it is.That's the ideal mind of a true Muslim. In case of any doubt, have it Lab tested and you shall be convinced.
