she has probably used something like Optifast, which is a very low calorie diet which includes all the nutrients she would need.
That amount of weight loss sounds totally possible on the program. The downside is she may put it all back on and more if she resumes bad eating habits once she is off the program.
Good luck to her if she can keep it off.

That works out to more than 7 pounds per week, that sounds a bit too much. Even if she lost so much, it is very unhealthy. The faster you lose weight, the faster you'll get it back. It's always better to go the slow and steady way. That way you'll ensure that you'll keep off the weight forever.

Unless she is seeing a doctor for a weight loss plan, she needs to slow it down. It isn't healthy for the human body to go through such a serious change in such a short time. Has she had bariatric surgery? She needs to see a doctor if she wants to lose weight fast. She could be in big trouble if she tries to do it on her own.

Yes 7lbs a week weight loss is pretty average for someone who has made a big lifestyle change, especially if she had alot of extra weight

Well if she is big its possible. The bigger you are the easier it is to lose weight. Its not healthy but its possible.

Unless she's obese, and I mean super obese, she didn't lose it in a healthy way.
The heavier you are the easier it is to lose weight
