Are you wanting material things? Then I'd go for bacteria and viruses. They get everything sooner or later.

Or did you mean spiritual? That would have to be love, as others have said, the glue that binds the universe together.

THE AIR WE BREATHE........But whether we agree or not, it boils down to God, because we need many things that God has created.... Love, air, sun and the moon and so many other things that all connect to God.

Love.
Granted it isn't something physical, but everyone, EVERYONE is affected by love. if it be love of a spouse, parent, relative, friend, GOD... everyone feels the influence of love. it changes people.
NOt always for the better, but those people have still been affected, no?

If pride doesn't stem from us directly then we are effected by it from someone else. Pride has broken relationships, it has caused wars and it is a real killer. It was pride that nailed Jesus to the cross.
