Why is it that when something good happens it's "god's will" but when something bad happens it's "satan's work"? If god is oh so powerful then why isn't it all "god's will"?
After all, god killed thousands in the very bible you follow while satan only killed seven. You normally use the argument that "the people god killed were sinners" But if god gives free will and the people use that free will to "sin" then god was punishing them for using the free will he gave them thus showing that he made a mistake by giving them the free will he later punishes them for using showing that he DOES make mistakes. Don't you just love interpretation?
So, why is good always god's work and bad always satan's work when god has killed just to cover his mistakes?

Note: I am not christian nor am I trying to convert anyone, this is just something that always bugged me about the religion. Oh and I can't be a sinner for I do not believe in the "sin" spoken of in the bible, there is right and wrong but to call someone who steals food to survive a sinner is just moronic to me.

Satan ( according to Judeo/Christian mythology) is a creation of "God" whom God is either unwilling or unable to destroy/contain . Therefore "God can NOT be both all powerful and all loving ( of mankind) . My bet is that "God" is not all powerful , otherwise why would he create or build the Devil and the defective fallen angels to begin with . Why would he create such a seriously flawed human existance .
Or wait ! Maybe there just isn't a "God" !

I actually dont agree with what your saying about God's will or satan's work. I believe that everything, good and bad, is God's will. God created satan, and therefore satan truly is under God's sovereignty.
You're actually touching on a major "controversy" i guess, but not really, about whether God gave us free will and really to what extent. God did give us free will, but God is also omnipotent. I believe that God knows all, everything, today, tomorrow, yesterday. He knows what will go on and what has gone on etc. therefore, in a human rhelm of speaking, we do have free will, but God knows what, based on our minds and hearts, what we will choose. God did kill many people, really, I have no explanation why God did that. even if I knew why, I probably wouldn't understand. I just know that God knows what he's doing.
To hit on what your saying towards the end, yes, if you look at who God is killing, he was killing sinners, but really, God choses when everyone is going to die, so you could therefore extend your point to saying that God has killed thousands, and they all were sinners except one. I understand what your saying about the free will, but like I said before, God knows what our choices will be.

God doesn't kill satan does, Jesus said this in the gospel of John. So why does God allow it? Because God gave authority to Adam over the earth and Adam gave it to satan. If God forcibly takes away that authority from satan, God then would be evil by breaking the covenant He made with Adam. However there is good news, He has a plan of redemption to end the authority of satan and that plan is almost done. We need to trust God and thank Him for giving us some help while satan is in charge of the world at this time.

So what are you trying to do convert Christians. If you are really a devout christian you have read your bible, studied the many many stories about GOD cleansing the earth, killing "sinners" destroying cities and yes testing a devout man like he did with JOB.
But we still believe in the good and justness of our god, and we also know that when Jesus came he brought about the end of Gods wrath and ushered in the Peace. so Please stop asking the same damn questions we are tired of answering them. if you don't believe great that's no skin off our backs if you want others to have you same views then pose your questions to them.
Because The only man that was perfect and walked the earth was JESUS he was patient we aren't
Thank you

God either CAUSES things to happen or He ALLOWS things to happen. Either way He's in control.
Satan would have no power at all if God didn't give it to him. God is the one who created Satan. It seems that people might not have freewill if Satan didn't exist to pull people away from God. If your only choice is to do good and not evil then you wouldn't really have free will.
But why is freewill so important that God would risk people rejecting Him? The reason He created people in His image was to have a loving relationship with them. He wanted people to live in fellowship with Him. God didn't want some form of cheap imitation love where people's ONLY choice was to love Him.. Love isn't love unless you CHOOSE to love.
God has never regretted giving people freewill. God has chosen to allow evil to happen for now so that freewill can even exist. However, it grieves God when people choose to turn away from Him.
If God creates life, He has the right to take it away if it accomplishes His purposes. God is the ONLY one who has that right. In some cases in the Bible a group of people might become so infected with their own evil that God chose to take back the life He had given to them.
We often don't understand why God does things the way He does. Our thinking is so limited. His thinking has no limits.
Do you question the ways of God?. Do you question His thinking?
God says this to you.
"For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."

You believe you have come to that conclusion on our own. Normally I leave people spew whatever foolishness they want to spew. Obviously you are not on the cusp of turning to God. However, you need to learn a thing or two. Even if God is as evil as you state, shouldn't you fear such a capricious being? You are not very powerful. Without water, air, the sun, etc., we are history. We are totally dependent on these things to live. Because the water, sun, and air exists we have food. Only on earth is this so. In all the known universe, only on earth do we have these things that sustains our lives. Like it or not we are dependent on God who sustains it all. In fact he holds your breath in his hands. He gives us the freedom to make choices and when those choices produce awful consequences, what do we do? We blame God. Sure God could have wiped out Satan, evil man, earth, the universe, and you. He didn't. He is not willing that anyone perish. Yet he will not violate your freedom to choose. He will allow you to choose to perish. But in that day, and in that hour, you call out to God in sincerity of heart, aware of your need, you will find a God who is full of loving kindness and forgiveness because of what Jesus did. You will find a God who is holy and good with no darkness at all. God is good and his mercy endures forever. His thoughts are way above our thoughts. Satan is the one who blinds the minds of men so they cannot see the truth. He makes men see the truth as foolishness.

You are right! Sometimes we don't really know. But what we have to make sure we (Christians) do is have our eyes on God. Good or bad.
