If you do; does it run over ceramic tiles. I'm wondering if it would possible to run the crown molding across the tiles if the tiles did go right up to the ceiling. Would you suggest it? I'm just thinking of a way to cover an untidy wall.

Yes, this is my 2nd home where the bathrooms have crown moulding. The first one had marble slabs on the 3 walls of the shower. The crown moulding went over the top of that. My current bathrooms don't have tile to the ceiling. But one of the ideas of crown moulding is to hide the untidy spaces where wall meets ceiling, so yes, I'd suggest it.

Tile till ceiling and crown molding are not a good match .Actually you can not put the crown molding on the tiles . To make look better you should use the crown tiles or designed tile in the last row or some how decorated in the wall between the other tiles in order .

I recommend returning it to itself... a 90 degree back to the wall just before the shower tile
