I'm 18, I'm 5'0...my parents are 5'4 and 5'1..everyone in my family is taller than me; cousins, aunts, and including my younger sister who is 15...

I've heard that girls don't stop growing until they're 23...(which I hope is true) =]...But I don't know how much that will help me since I haven't grown much since I was 13..

Most people think I'll grow a little more since I have a 'baby face' and I don't look like I'm 18 yet...

Any suggestions on what to do to help myself grow? Or simply if I even have a chance of growing some more?

I can't be sure, because I'm still 17. The only thing I'm sure about is that I haven't grown a millimetre since 13 years old, and I doubt I'll grow anymore.

But some people say that if you're still a teenager and you really insist on wanting to become taller, you should drink at least 100mL of milk every night before you go to sleep (if you're not paranoid of gaining weight), and avoid all kinds of food that contains MSG (monosodium glutamate), like instant noodles and some western sweets that prevent the growth of your bones.

It may be worth a try, but you're going to have to do that everyday for the rest of your teenage life . . . which I'd rather give up on if I were you. I personally think you shouldn't worry if nobody is making fun of your height.

Good luck and take care! Hugs.

Females usually stop growing at 15 and often earlier but sometimes growth continues up to 18 but this is very rare and in some isolated and almost unheard of cases growth will actually continue up to 21.

At the age of 23, unfortunately, you are at least 2 years past the latest possible growth.

For further information, in the Search for questions slot type in "grow taller" and you will get at least 6,800 results.

I heard that guys stop growing around 21, I think girls continue to grow a little longer. You may have a few more years to grow a little more but if so prob not a lot, but it is not a big deal, a lot of women arent that much over 5'0, one of my best friends is 4'10. dont worry about it. but to answer your question, charts say you can grow a little more over the next few years, but everyone is different. maybe you already stopped growing, maybe you will grow until 25, and no, to my knowledge there is no way to help yourself grow...i saw someone said drink milk...that makes your bones stronger which is important but it does not make you grow. but relax, like i said, it is not like a lot of other women arent in your shoes...idk why, but noone is happy enough with how tall they are. I am a guy, 6'0, I wish I was a few inches taller, my sis is 5'5, she wishes she was a little taller and i told you about my friend who is under 5'0...i know i say dont worry, but noone is ever happy with their height.

I think if it is by heredity, you will stay at your height, but since according to research that women stop growing until 22, you will have to take time and need some help of your parents, brothers and sisters to keep massaging your back or spinal column vertically to and fro at least 10 minutes everyday or every night before going to bed. Hope that it would help you grow even a little inch.

I am 37 yrs old male 5'9. I was 5.2 your age and continued growing until the age of 21! It's less common but possible. Drink at least 1 glass of milk a day. Also, do not feel bad about I'd do you even now at 5.0. Good luck

I think you may be at the end of growing any taller. I heard that women stop growing around 18-22. So you may be done and your parents are short too.

It is your perfect age to grow and you may grow as much as six inches to eight inches by stretching exercise. It is quite simple. In standing position, mesh your fingers together, take it over your head and raise your joined hands along with your entire body to as much height as possible. Remain in the stretched position for a few seconds and then relax. Repeat the stretching for 15/20 times to start with. Do it twice a day and continue for 3 months. You will be amazed to see your growth in 5 weeks time.May God bless you.

I'm 15 and 5'2'' most people think I'm short, and I'm starting to accept that sad fact, you probably will grow but not massively of course, like maybe 1 or 2 inches then you'll reach your max height for the rest of your life?
