God's love is real! God is Love. Faith in this world and seeing in the next.

There is no way to independently verify that ANYTHING is real because we ALL exist in this reality together, none of us exist outside of it so that we could look onto the others and say, this is real or this isnt real....

We could all be living in the dream in the mind of God and we'd never know the difference because we cant escape this reality to either verify it is real or define it as illusion.

Reality is only as real as your mind allows it to be.

I could be dreaming and shove a dream fork into my dream eye and in my dream I would think it hurt just as bad as "real" fork in my "real" eye...there simply isnt any real way to independently verify reality in the way that you are looking for.

All we can do is come up with a base of "reality" and agree upon it (science) and build from there.

only you can answer this question. what is real to one may not be to another. ten different people experiencing something in the same place at the same time will have ten different stories about what happened. all are truly real to the individual. even if you were to stick a fork in your eye, as the one responder mentioned, if you decide in your mind that it didn't happen, how can any of us convince you otherwise. the mind is very powerful and belief can be absolute in shaping one's perception of what is real. certainly there are aspects of our shared reality that we can all agree on, but there are so many unknowns about our universe that it is often left to one's personal beliefs as to what is real for them. as far as your question about whether or not love is real....once again this is for you to determine for yourself. continue to keep an open mind, and to seek answers.

"Reality... what a concept!" Robin Williams

Reality, a subject that has been debated since the beginning of time; and will likely be debated until the end of time.

On this subject, I remain blissfully ignorant and totally agnostic.

Shove a fork in your eye and if it hurts, that all the reality you need.

No need to overthink the obvious.

You can only go on the information received by the brain from your senses. Sometimes this is deceptive.

Real is different for everyone. For you it is what you precieve.
