Did recent events send him packing, or is he taking a breather?

Lady G -- You have a face once more, and it's a very pretty one, too! I can see this one. The other was too dark.

I have seen him here and there. Saw him in Washington, D.C. this weekend where all internet access comes with a serious price tag, and ... he didn't have time to get to a computer, so I am told.
He said he took a dear friend home to the family of the deceased for ceremonies that were very touching. IT was a tearful occasion, for the deceased's mother and father's frist born had died. All the brothers and sisters were there for the very sad parting.
I am told he is back at his office now, in California, and will be re-joining you all in the time he has to 'play.' But he also said that perhaps his time will be taken up with business more and more, for with the death of his partner, he has to do it all...a very large task, indeed.
He also told me to tell everyone hello, wish them love and peace, and that he would take time for everyone as much as possible.
He was quite surprised at events that have been going on here...he has heard little, but has been in email contact with some of you here and has been filled in, to some extent, that some of our dear members have given up on the site...very sad, indeed. Isn't it sad that it takes only one bad apple to ruin an entire barrel?
Peace, love, and best wishes, Goldwing (Phil)

You must be talking about that dashing Mr. Goldwing. He did make a brief appearance today. I think that he may be taking a breather. Hope to see him soon.

Our resident wise-one was on for a bit last night. Missed his wisdom and observations when he was away.

Edit: Goldwing, just read your post. Know that it must have been a very difficult trip. Wishing you sunnier days. Gracie

As I remember his recent trip was for a sad occasion so I would expect that this is a time of reflection and also catching up on things that went undone during his absence ? He IS missed!

Goldwing is back. He was answering questions last night. Probably jet lag and taking care of business (not at the same time).

Yeah come to think of it I have seen a guy fitting that description roaming around the place.

You seek him, you seek him there
You seek the GoldWing everywhere,
Is it heaven or is it hell
the trouble is its hard to tell.

He was here last night for a bit. It's nice he checks in with us, even when he's traveling. We sure do miss him when he's gone, hope he's back to stay real soon.
