No. The expected life of the tank was too short for such luxeries.

1940's? I seriously doubt it. In fact, not a chance! I don't even think the ones today have A/C... or heat, other than the heat generated from the tank itself..

No, but I'm sure the heat generated from the tank engine kept it some what warm.
