The cutoff for the AF is 27. You must be in Basic before you 28th birthday. The cutoff for the Navy is 32, although they do issue waivers for age unlike the AF.
My husbandjoined the AF at 27. He went to Basic 3 days before his 28th birthday. it was the best decision he ever could have made. He loves his job! He came in as an E-3 because of his degree and after only 2 years will be sewing on E-5.

42 looks to be the oldest you can enlist in the Army or Navy, but it probably depends on what you have to offer. If you are a trained medical type for example they are always looking for those skills. But, I don't know the age limits for Medical Personal. The Air Force is 27.

My friend went to enlist a while back and it was 34 or 35. They may have changed it though.

I believe it's 40 or 42 now, at least for the Army.
