I'm looking for Mary Cape's birthday. She was married in 1860 to Isaac Mayfield Morgan. They married in Adair County, Kentucky. I don't know when or where Mary Cape was born. I don't know her death date eather. I'm assumeing she died in Adair County, Kentucky like her husband. Do you think you can give me any good ideals where else to look? I've tried ancestry.com and rootsweb.com. I know that Mary was Isaac's second wife. His first one was Bidsey Helen. I also know she died after December 18, 1876. That's when she had a son named Samuel J. "Tilden" Morgan.

Here is a Cape family linked to Adair co, KY.. I don't see your Mary, but this is probably where you will wind up. Some solid work here.
and

a rootsweb file that will probably connect to the above.
per familysearch census, Isaac and Mary were in Russell co, in 1880..she was 36, and there is a younger son than Samuel. It isn't clear to me which are her children or from a first marriage.
So maybe she died in Russell county? you might work the Cape family, and see if you can pin down their family cemetery.
edit-
more hunting shows Mary E Cape, dau of John Cape and Sarah Garner (rootsweb).. careful, it doesn't mention husband there, but says she died after 1900?? could she be living w a child in 1900?

Did some census date manipulations and assuming the ages given were correct (they were all consistent) you have her birth date ranges as:

1850 Census: Sept 23, 1840 - Sept 22, 1841
1860 Census: June 22, 1840 - June 21, 1841
1870 Census: July 29, 1840 - July 28, 1841

Putting them all together refines the birthdate as between September 24, 1840 and June 21, 1841.

Hope this helps
