There will be mockers in the last day. An honest and good heart is the good soil in which the word of God produces fruit. She justifies herself with her fairytale account of her love for humanity. She makes up an argument that you are greedy because you work to put food on the table. That is an unreasonable argument. I wouldn't waste the time of day with such foolishness. You are not dealing with an honest and good heart. So desist.

Can you elaborate on the eat and work part?
Her response on the greed and power remark may be biased from a western point of view. I want you to be as objective as possible right now.
You believe in an Abrahamic faith because you're from the west, if you were from the east, you'd follow eastern faith accordingly. The same way she's referring to the church and it's control of real estate and using the raising of "tithe for personal gain". As well as the Bible's restrictive rules.
Greed and power are primary forces behind how people live. But, greed alone isn't negative, it's when you apply greed to negative factors is greed negative. Power is the same way, some seek power in different ways.
I didn't quite grab your last question though, but I hope I'm offering you an alternative POV.

Why is YOUR working and eating considered greedy, but hers is not?
She sounds like a hypocrite and her being an agnostic has nothing to do with those views.
Sounds like she has a martyr complex.

I'd say she is good at the talking thing, but I'd be willing to bet she doesn't live a life that can back it up.
