I just feel like my life has no meaning, like I have nothing to live for. I mean I am 21 and I have no bf, and just about everyone at this college is black and very rude or unapprochable, and it doesn't help that I have mild autism and can't drive or find any guys who can understand me and not make fun of or try to take advantage of me. So I feel that the only reason I have to live is if I can make myself feel good by doing or learning things. But when I don't do that I just start to feel bad again, like I let myself down. And my mother met an extremely crazy bipolar woman named Crystal from Troy, NY online, and in May 2006 Crystal came to our house in Maryland and we had to pack whatever we could into a moving van all in 1 day while my father was out of the house because my mother wanted to move to Troy, NY and live with Crystal without telling my father.

So now my mother, brother (who is 23 and has autism), and sister (who is 20) are all still in Troy, NY, and we lost our house in Maryland as well as everything we left behind because my grandpa had to foreclose the house. I am just back in Maryland because my mother (with Crystal coming along (of COURSE)) decided to drive me back since I was in college. But when I am not on campus I have nowhere to stay except at my father at his mother's house, where conditions are strict and overcrowded, and no computer or internet. And my mother refuses to contact me or anyone in her family, and Crystal will not allow my brother to call me. And I don't even know where my sister is or what is going on up there in Troy, NY. And in June my mother's mother grandma died, and my mother did not even come down for the funeral. And I keep thinking about it and crying. I just don't know what to do. I just want to have a bf or something, because I just know it would help me to have someone like that

but even though everyone always says I look good I just can't meet any nice guys who will not try to take advantage of me. I just don't know what to do or how to find a guy being the way I am, or anything. Somebody help me.

Weather it be Autism or Schizophrenia or ceberal palsy every disability is equally challenging, none are more or worse then the other. but people with all disability's experience what you have, lack of meaning in life, people just don't seem to be interested in being your friend or lover. I can tell you this is normal, my only answer to you is everyday you have think of something to live for everyday and until you find something you must continue to think otherwise you will just stay the same, here is my final advice, once you figure out your weaknesses and learn to cope and accept them, they become your strengths.

Everyone get's depressed. Sounds like you are just at a low point. And when you are at a low point, the negatives in your life seem to be 100% worse to deal with than they actually are. You can't fix your Mother/Father/Family issues. You are an adult now, and the other adults in your life need to fix themselves. Focus on you. By your own admission, learning makes you happy. So do yourself a favor, and take a class just for the fun of it! Something you are interested in. Photography, Pottery, Oil Painting, etc. Something that you would find FUN! Something outside of your regular school curriculum. It's a great place to meet like-minded people whom you might find you have a lot more in common with than the people you are currently surrounded by. Chin up!! You sound pretty smart. Don't let the negative people in your life drag you down.

It sounds like you have been through a lot. Try to start establishing your own life by trying new hobbies that you didn't grow up doing. Go to a church, that is a great way to meet people and find people to talk to. True christians are very sincere and will be great friends to you. You need a friend really badly, just someone to talk to. Even though you can't change your situation for your family issues. you do have the power To change yourself and what you don't like about yourself. The most important thing to live for is to see how many days, weeks, months and years you can live before your life is taken back. Remember this... the ALMIGHTY gave you the breath and gift of life that you might live to make an example to every other living individual. You sound sweet. Stay that way.

you are in college? seek out your counselor there and talk to them about this. I know they have counselors, guides, advisers..something like that there. They can help you with your particular situation. They are not just there to help you out with school related issues but also life issues. You can also try talking with a favorite teacher of yours and see if they can help you or at least advise you. I am so very sorry that you are going through this. I do hope that things get better.
