Karma literally means 'cause and effect,' specifically those built up by the thoughts and actions of our lives. In other words, it means that we create our own lives. It means that we have been, are and always will be completely responsible for everything that goes on in our lives. If things seem to happen to us, that is simply because we have chosen to make our lives look that way to us--either as a conscious or subconscious choice.
The choice is the cause. The effect is the result of that choice. Keep in mind, karma is not passive. The karmic philosophy says: I have created everything in my life so far; I have participated in it, or chosen it, or drawn it to me, or perpetuated it. Because karma is active, it also means: I can now change any part of my life, of my karma by creation, participation, or choice. In other words, you have the option of setting up new causes and getting new effects in your life.
You are in charge of your own karma.....not some universal force. Universal laws and forces move karma. . . but you are in charge.

Karma - What goes around comes around. One good deed begets another.
Every action has an equal reaction.
No one decides whether you lose it or earn it really. Karma is really something that you earn selflessly. The concept of Karma comes from Hinduism.
There are three types of Karma - sanchita karma, the sum total of past karmas yet to be resolved;
prarabdha karma, that portion of sanchita karma that is to be experienced in this life; and
kriyamana karma, the karma that humans are currently creating, which will bear fruit in future.
If one were to simply do a good deed for the sake of getting good karma, it will end up being bad karma.
The universal law of cause and effect has it's rules. You need to be selfless, righteous, follow your dharma.. etc.

Karma is the equality of actions based on the intent, the ying to the yang, the black to the white, the Dharma to the Greg
The universe dishes it out
You can not earn or lose karma, karma is distributed evenly, all actions have a consequence.

Karma is not a person, no one and no thing is in charge of karma, it just is. Karma means that your choices have consequences, and you are responsible for them whether you are aware or not.
Partly, you make who you are, and you have to live with who you are. Partly, you affect others and your environment, and you have to live with that. And partly, what you choose affects your ability to truly perceive yourself, and to be aware of everything.
You CAN afflict yourself with mental burdens and blinders, which will affect your opportunities, your awareness, your growth, and that of everyone you influence... You are a butterfly, a pebble dropped into water, and :) maybe also a bull in a china shop.
No one decides; your actions and choices have already made your karma of the past, of yesterday, of last year, etc.
Here and Now is the moment of the rest of your karma. What will you do?

I believe that there is no karma. Most people know "karma" is a force that if you do something bad or good, it will comeback to you. You know the old saying "what comes around goes around." The reason I dont believe there is karma is because there are children dying of starvation right now. What did they do? I wouldn't think they did anything bad to comeback to them.

Think of karma as a circle of actions (good and bad). Everything you do will go around and come back to you. Who is incharged of karma...I would say "you". You're incharged of your destiny and the joy/pain that you bring upon yourself and to others...directly and indirectly. If you do something nice for others, then that good deed will go around and eventually come back to you. However, if you mistreat someone, then that act will return to you sooner or later. You don't really earn or lose karma. It exists within yourself and your conscience should be able to distinguish it.
Well, at least that's how I see it! =)

Things that you do and what you reap.
Nobody is in charge of karma, you and yourself will decide whether you gain positive or negative karma. You are your own person, no one can answer for you, neither can anyone judge you except yourself.

No one is in charge of karma.
Karma is originally a Hindu belief and it pertains to reincarnation, the idea being that the acts you do in this life will affect the next, so you reap what you sow.
They don't necessarily consider it a good or bad thing, its just what it is. If you allow your animal or lower instincts to dictate what you do in this life, you will be reincarnated as an animal. If you are able to suppress those instincts and live a moral life, you will be reincarnated as a human. So everyone gets what they (subconsciously) want.

Karma is: "If you hang around with thieves, you are more likely to be robbed."
But, most people twist it into some kind of energy or religious-based thing.
