Weed can trigger it, so I really doubt it helps at all. When you have a mental illness, the last thing you want to do is mess around with mind altering substances.

Nothing causes Schizophrenia like the government and the rich. Think about it--there is a disease where you "won't make as much sense", "have trouble keeping a job", "have low social connections", "have poor income", "have suicidal thoughts"--for life? No wonder schizophrenics don't make sense--70% of people with schizophrenia had extremely good grades, and they are dealing with morons here. the blame for this is a country that calls that a chronic disease and doesn't blame itself environmentally for any of it. America is lucky that they have schizophrenia because if they didn't people would just have to be diagnosed as poor for life for obvious fiscal reasons. Those symptoms sound more like symptoms caused by society than an individual. The disease is that people are ok with this kind of **** happening to others repeatedly without a solution. They have to put their parents in a retirement home because they have to work so hard to maintain that they can't even love or care for their own family. If there was a medicine that cured mental illness tomorrow--there is no way these money grubbing countrymen would allow it. They can't share so much as a loaf of bread, and more than 80% of people on the street have mental illness. That is because Nazism was a lot more practical without it being racist. So you can thank Bush and Obama for both ignoring mental illness and fostering an environment where people can be shoved down their whole life by simply diagnosing something. If schizophrenic people had the life span of someone who isn't crazy like a congressman or warmonger then the Population Control nuts would go crazy. They can't allocate the funds for people or they can't share their oxygen because the money simply doesn't exist after it is constantly given to the aristocrats and then back to them so they can horde it. And, who profits from Schizophrenia--psychologists and pharma. Would those people want any of your money going to a drug dealer? no. They want it going to them, so good luck getting a straight answer to your question.

NO - it is completely the opposite - people with paranoid schizophrenia should NEVER use marijuana as it will only make things worse. Marijuana has some legitimate medical uses, but this is NOT one of them.

As someone who regularly smokes pot, I'd definitely have to say no.
At its worst, pot has made me feel schizophrenic, bipolar, and very paranoid. I can only imagine what it would do to someone with the actual disease...
