Am getting ready to set up my new business and want to know which toy dogs are the most popular and make the best hybrids? I will also offer purebred dogs, but will mainly focus on the hybrids since that is what people seem to be willing to pay the most money for.
Which ones do you think? Yorkies, poodles, chiwawas?

Your best bet would get a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Miniature Poodle. That would make a "Cavapoo". That particular designer breed will sell for $1,200+. Both those breeds are highly intelligent making them the easiest dog to train.
I know i'll get thumbs down for my answer. But no matter what people will keep breeding the designer breeds. So why waste your breath in saying its horrible.

Just be aware that many toy breeds have a lot more health issues. When people breed for the toy, they don't always consider health, structure, brains.... Don't get caught up in looks alone. Look at temperment, how the dog is built.... The hybrids breeds can't be registered so be aware of that. Keep everything clean or else you could get some very unhealthy dogs. You should not just breed for a profit. Dogs are living animals who desearve to be loved, have a home and not be used as a tool. Please really consider what you are doing. Before you even start selling dogs, look at all the risks, what costumers might try to get you for, possible problems, if dogs are unhealthy, how can you afford vet bills, if a costumer gets bit, dog gets away.... There are so many things that can go wrong. Hyrids ARE NOT totally healthy. You can create genetic problems... Make sure you don't let dogs go before 8 weeks. They should be vaccinated, have a health certificate by a vet and be dewormed. You should really reconsider. There are so many dogs out there that need homes!

Not all hybrids(mutts) are healthy. They don't automatically get what is best from both parents. If that were the case, if the smartest man and the smartest woman had a kid it would automatically be the smartest person and as we all know this isn't the case. Most people who would sell you breeding stock to breed hybrids(mutts) would be people who are wanting to make a quick buck themselves. They aren't going to sell you the best and frankly they aren't breeding for the best product. Please think this over. If you want to be a pro breeder, then do it right. Pick a breed, do your research and produce the best pup possible. People will pay big bucks for those too!

There are THOUSANDS of dogs pure breed and mixed in shelters that are put to sleep every year. We don't need anymore dogs. Please spay your dog and DO NOT BREED! If done correctly there is little to no money in dog breeding. If you are thinking that you can find a home for all of your puppies then please just go get all those people that you know that wants a dog and take them to the shelter and get then a homeless dog that will be KILLED if it does not get a home! If you think you are going to make money breeding think about these things. 1. Feeding your dog (pregnant and nursing dogs eat double if not more) 2. Feeding puppies 3. Vaccines for the mother 4. Vaccines for the puppies 5. Keeping the mother on flea and tick meds that are approved for pregnant and nursing dogs (Frontline--no over the counter flea and tick meds are approved for pregnant and lactating dogs) 6. Heartworm preventative for the mother 7. De-wormer for the mother and the pups 8. Veterinary check ups for all puppies and the mother 9. Possible need for c-section (wow those are expensive) And those are just a few that I thought of off the top of my head. I really think you need to spay your dog instead. There really is not a bunch of money in raising puppies. PLEASE RECONSIDER!

I would go with a Poodle and a Japanese Chin. You could call it Pooey-Chin!! Or how about a Japanese Chin and Shih Tzu? You could call it a ShitzChin! Who wouldn't love those name? I also know someone (not personally) that does the Hybrid thing. I could give you her link and you could get some REALLY GOOD pointers from her! Her dogs are really SPOILED and she knows what shes doing when it comes to breeding!

how stupid..you dont care about the health of the pups or if the mom has genetic testing, all you think about is $$$$. the best breeders breed for hobby, not as a job!!!! they get their money from other sources. In the end,a responsible breeder will only end up getting their money back after selling ups. However if you do make hoards of money then you prbobly did not spend a dime on health care.
And they arnt hybrids their mix breeds. a hybrid is a mix bettween two different species, like a zebra and a horse or a dog and a wolf.

Just what we need - another idiot with no idea about genetics or health (or spelling!) starting up a puppy farm for profit.
How can you justify locking a dog up in a tiny cage 24/7 giving it no training, love or attention and then making it mate with another cross bred mutt every time it comes into season just so you can make money from the puppies who will not be brought up in a loving, caring environment with social interaction and good quality feeding and vet care?
NO thanks - i'd rather buy mine from a reputable, caring breeder who knows something about genetic testing, vet care and socialisation.
Why don't you go to your local shelter and see where most of your designer puppies will end up when the health issues and bad temperaments are realised by the new owners.
Better still pick up a couple of (neutered) dogs from the shelter to start your puppy farm with (seeing as that is about as much as you know about genetics, biology and health care of dogs).

We should think carefully about whether we want to contribute to even more suffering in the world -- the dogs can't speak for themselves:

So if I were looking for a C-H-I-H-U-A-H-U-A, you would sell me a "chiwawa"? Hmmmmm, not so sure I would want to spend big $'s for a dog that would have it's breed miss-spelled on it's papers. Get a real life, leave the poor dogs alone.
edit: To Gal and her dog...sorry but that is one word he did get right. It is breed NOT bread.

Oh, good. Another crap hybrid designer dog breeder. Hope the authorities put you out of business as soon as you start.
Please leave minpins out of your money scheme. I don't want the extra work of saving your dogs as well.
Reputable breeders stick to one breed, the breed they have dedicated their lives to. People who purposely breed mutts or several breeds are called PUPPY MILLERS!
Can't you get a job?
Edit: Royalmin... Thanks for the idiot encouragement to an obvious PUPPYMILL
