You are being slowly poisoned by an artificial sweetener found in carbonated drinks (such as diet or non-diet sodas) called aspartame which is nicknamed "sweet poison." Many patients who have been diagnosed with MS or Multiple Sclerosis were actually feeling symptoms of aspartame. Some serious symptoms include vision and hearing loss, fibromyalgia, and in your case, painful stomach spasms. People who felt these symptoms and stopped drinking soda actually recovered 100%.
When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds a certain degree, it turns into formic acid. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants. There are many products out there that contain aspartame although there were congressional hearings that took place for its objection. Make sure you read labels on everything you let your body consume. And oh yah, stop drinking the soda and see if the pain stops.

I drink a diet soda maybe once every four months. I gave it up years ago when I wanted to lose weight and trust me, that was hard... I drank regular pepsi like it was water back in the day. Within two weeks of giving it up, I lost 6 pounds! No kidding.... JUST by giving up soda! And I never went back. I see people at my work drinking them throughout the day... they always have a big gulp or a can sitting on their desk and I often wonder how they can consume so many empty calories. Ugh... Soda is so bad.

Actually it sounds like your colon & stomache is not liking the caffine. Which can make you want to double over, over heat, and want to puke (to extreme). Could be a sign of not getting enough water regularly in your system. the carbination along with the caffine will create alot of gas in your stomache. Cola is really bad for that. It has a lot of stomache creating issues including irritating asthema. But it sure tastes good going down.
But seriously try drinking enough water 2-3 bottles of water daily for a few days or until your urine runs clear steadily. Then try a cola. If it still happens seek your doctor's help. You may have a serious problem.
Also pay attention to what your eating with it. ~could be affecting you too.

Most carbonated soft drinks are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, which is the result of a chemical process. It is not as easily digested by the body as a natural sugar, such as glucose.
You could also have pain above your stomach from the carbonation, which can cause bloating .
If you are drinking diet soda and contains aspartame, that can cause all sorts of problems as well.

Stop drinking them, for one.
And you might have a slight allergy to the caramel coloring, or some other unique soda component. Either way, your body is rejecting it, so be good to your body and stop drinking them :)
