I believe it is because, from the fall in the beginning, the satanic sinful nature of the serpent has always been bent on hatred toward God. Why bother with false gods that are of no consequense to him. Remember, unfortunately, his nature was passed down to us through the original sin of rebellion. Only those who have been changed from within, see Jesus for who He really is, and choose to honor Him accordingly. Otherwise he is scorned and verbally spit on by those who are ignorant of whom they are really serving by their blasphemies against all things that pertain to God. They open their mouths and satan speaks through them. This truth is not intended to offend. You said it right when you said, " other religious leaders' satan knows there is no power to be threatened by from any religion, now Faith, that's another matter alltogether! People of genuine faith leave him shakin' in his boots!

Christians claim that Jesus gets bashed more than actually happens (and certainly far less than Christians bash non-believers). Nevertheless, to the extent that they do, Mohammed and Jesus both get bashed for the same reason — the conservative faithful of both religions hate America and want to destroy it.
The real threat to America (far more than some pissed-off Muslims) are those conservative Christians who want to re-write the US Constitution in an attempt to overturn America’s secular democratic republic so they can replace it with a theocratic-based fascist government based on the humanity– and America–hating doctrine of their Old Testament God.
They want to expel science from our classrooms so they can replace it with the folktales and mythological stories of quasi-historic semi-nomadic Semitic tribes of illiterate goat herders who lived thousands of years ago and who thought that the earth was flat and the night sky was a dome with little lights provided by their God.
They have so little respect for the US Constitution that they want to amend it to deal with every little non-issue that they object to (like gay marriage and flag burning) while they oppose any amendment guaranteeing equal rights to all Americans.
The democratic republic established by the US Constitution was the first 100% secular government in history. There is not a single mention of God, Jesus, or Christianity anywhere in the US Constitution The issue was discussed and the Founding Fathers voted God out, intentionally.
The following was unanimously passed by the 1797 US Congress and signed into law by President John Adams:
•“As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion, …”

Because the others do not need support and propagation - the wars of the crusades.
They are independent and can exist by themselves.
They are not insecure and do not call for increase in numbers to be enrolled - like a membership/drive/ promotion by us his followers.
They do not say 'Only I am right/ good. All others are wrong/bad.
The unfortunate thing is that these sad infidels will be further punished by not being allowed into our heaven or hell and have to find their own.

Perhaps it has something to do with christians claiming repeatedly that they know for a fact their religion is correct?
Humanity has been hurt very little by buddhism. The abrahamic religions, on the other hand...
Let's make a deal: You promise me that nobody ever gets hurt by your religion again, and I'll never discuss it again.
Read Letter to a Christian Nation if you want to understand how harmful your religion is.
In the meantime:

My perspective on Jesus is different than yours.
Jesus did not put himself above Buddha or anyone.
Jesus did not convict people of anything.
Jesus taught many spiritual truths......Love was the most important message he gave to the world.
Peace!

1 John 4:3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Because the truth is never popular in the world. As long as there are no moral absolutes in a religion it is accepted by the world. All religions teach works for salvation.Cristianity teaches grace.Almost all religions teach that man is basically good by nature.Christianity teaches man inherited a sin nature from Adam & Eve.And that there are moral absolutes that are given by God,not designed by men.
