Yes there are other possible helps. Homeopathy is wonderful in this, it has very specific and effective medicines for such complaints. It is very safe. Also psychotherapy, yoga meditation helps.

Homeopathic for me has been so much better. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia almost 9 years ago. The standard treatment for that is pain killers and anti depressants which I don't want to take. A friend of mine turned me on to homeopathic remedies and I take them for a host of things. Like tendinitis, asthma and the fibromyalgia. With the homeopathic stuff you don't have to worry about all the bad side affects that come from prescription meds and it works very very well

There are many at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris Use the index, and read page 1. Yahoo's Alternative Medicine section is worth a try. It might have helped, if you had specified the problem/s.

Depends. If you are talking schizophrenia, manic depression, major recurring depression, severe physiological anxiety disorder, OCD... the answer is no. These are diseases with physiological bases. It'd be like asking if you could fix diabetes type I or heart disease with herbs.
Now, if you are talking about stress, regular anxiety, minor situational depression and so forth, yes, certainly. Start with diet and exercise. Consider therapy if appropriate.

I know one homeopathic doctor in Delhi. He is psychologist and is a qualified homeopathic doctor. He treats such psychological complaints very nicely with combination of psychotherapy and homeopathic medicines. I had anxiety and depression and the treatment was very helpful. His name is Dr S K Sharma and his clinic is in Green park Extension, New Delhi.
