Definitely. The dominant person is the one who keeps people waiting. If you refuse to accept such behavior, you are then not allowing the person to control you. Making people wait is a passive aggressive behavior.

Nope. Once upon a time a dr kept me sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half. At the time I was self-employed and my rate was thirty dollars an hour. So I billed him $45 plus mileage. He paid it.
I always carry a paperback novel or I do a meditation. Can't stand that feeling so had to fix it.

It depends on the situation. In an office setting probably. I've been to tons of meetings where the 'boss' or 'superior' purposely keeps people waiting to show his/her importance.

If it is a situation where I have no choice-doctor, car mechanic,etc.-very much so. At work-no, I'm getting paid. In a store or restaurant I usually won't wait long-I'll take my business elsewhere.

YES - if the wait is unnecessary and the person just wants to see me squirm (ie, potential date purposefully waiting to return your message even though he can very well call you right now...)
NO - if it is necessary (ie, if people are standing in front of me at mcdonalds, i have to wait for them to get their food before i can get mine!)

Yes!!!
Doctors are horrible!!!
My time is just as valuable as theirs!!!
I HAVE to see them to get the Rx's I need!!!
I wish I had the guts to send them a statement for my time I spent looking at very old magazines!!!
Today: I was at my Dr's appt. on time. The person who came in after me was seen first!!! Late, make'm wait!!!
