When someone blasphemes any Prophet then Muslims take it as a declaration of war.

When the Jews call Jesus a "Bastard who is boiling in hot excrement" (google it) then the Muslims consider these no different than a physical attack.

Why dont the Christians stand up against Blasphemy and slander ?

.

A senior American cardinal has asked Jews to reconsider descriptions of Jesus as a "bastard" in exchange for a softening of traditional Catholic prayers calling for Jews to be converted to Christianity.

No reason for Muslims to be offended the Isa of Islam Is not the Jesus of Christianity.

Did Isa say he was the Son of God? No Jesus did.
Did Isa die for your sins? No Jesus did.
Does Isa agree with the prophets of God? No Jesus does.

It pains me to say this, but in many respects you are right. I feel like the time is coming when many Christians will have to take a very vocal stand with the media about their disrespect for Jesus. It frustrates me so much when I see people accepting such slander. I understand that most of it is invented by an unbelieving mind, but in a capitalist and democratic society, Christians should be willing to take a stand about the marketing of the offensive materials. Believe what you want, sell what you want, say what you want. But If you do not want to hear it or see it, change the channel, walk away, write a letter, and do not buy the products until a change is made. As for the language used, I am sure that God will hold us accountable for the ways in which we use His name, and the name of His Son. And I hope that as our society becomes more integrated with those of the Muslim faith, we can take a page from their own book about respect for both Prophets and God.

That is because Muslims are the true followers of Jesus. Christians follow Paul.

Did Jesus eat pork? No! But Christians do and Muslims don't.

Did Jesus drink alcohol? No! But Christians do and Muslims don't.

Did Jesus tell women to expose their bodies? No! But Christians do and Muslims don't.

Did Jesus hate beards? No! But Christians do and Muslims don't.

Did Jesus say he created the universe? No! But Christians believe so and Muslims don't.

Does Jesus hate Islam? No! But Christians do and Muslims don't.

Julia D, the Talmud is full of corruption; as well as the Torah. Why wouldn't you try the Koran for a better opinion about Jesus, the prophet of GOD?!

Muslims only defend the part that someone hung on the Cross, not the Messiah. Lore from the Qur'an paints a picture of a switch during the march to Calvary. This was for the intent of inhibiting the importance of the Crucifixion. And Jews will be strengthened and upheld by God's righteous right hand. [Is 41:10]

They believe that by such action they can win favor with their god whom they call Allah. It's a nice gesture on their part, but is never in the will of God for anyone to seek war over what He would consider silly children calling Him names. If a person desires to call Jesus a bad name, that is their problem. It is, however, a point that will be held against them if they die as a sinner. Trust this, God knows everything that anyone does. Just because hell fire isn't rained down on such blasphemy doesn't mean it is being ignored. God doesn't need anyone taking His place to make judgment against anyone for what they do or say. Vengeance belongs to God, and to God alone, so the Muslims are actually acting in sin to take matters into their own hands, regardless of what they believe. Acting against the Jews is also VERY wrong and a sure fire way to get very negative attention from God. Consider how a nest of very angry bees got into a sealed up Syrian tank the last time they went to war with Israel. Who in their right mind would put, or allow a nest of such insects in the confines of a tank. Surely, even if they built a nest in the tank while idle in it's storage area, at first movement inside the tank, or even at engine start up, they would have made their presence known. Reason says they were not there until God put them there to get the crew out of that tank to aid Israel. Consider ALL of the wars thus far fought against Israel, and every time Israel has beat them off in full victory. God still favors Israel. There is yet 1 week of years yet to go in the prophecy of Daniel as concerns Israel, and the rest of the world. The Catholics can go soak their collective heads in what ever they want to over praying for Israel, God will meet their need for salvation, He already has it planned out. Want a sure bet, side with Israel, you get the approval of God.

Christians did. They are called wars...Charlemagne in Spain, the crusades, the inquisition (again in Spain), the Hundred Years War between France and England, etc.etc. and now the jehad's against the West by radicals in Islam. Religions should get a thicker skin and not worry about "insults". Insults are only words...this is how I've taught my sons. But humans DO like to fight, don't they? That probably won't change 'till we're all dead.

Why would anyone be concerned about calling Jesus a bastard? Technically, he was concieved outside of marriage. This fact doesn't detract from his status in the least, does it?

I guess I don't get worried if a few weirdos go off on a rant against Jesus.

I think Jesus is God enough to take it, and it will be for him to deal with them, it's not for me.

And no offense intended to you, but I'm not really too sure about what you mean by "honorable depiction of Jesus..."
Is it honorable to depict Jesus in such a way that contradicts what Jesus said about himself?

Every time a Muslim states that Jesus is only a prophet he/she is blaspheming because they are relegating Him to a position that is much lower than what He really is. He is not just a prophet, He is the Son of God, our Saviour and Lord. These statements made by Jews are also blasphemous. Christians often do not make a fuss because Jesus told us to "turn the other cheek" when someone hurts or offends us. If we over react to these statements in a negative way we dishonor our Lord and will lose our testimony. They and they alone will have to stand before God at the last judgment and give an account for their blasphemy.

By not defending Christians do exactly what Jesus commanded his people to do. Christians dont retaliate, dont fight back, there is no reason to defend. Jesus said,"if someone hit you on your face, turn him your other cheek too".

Because in the quran we are told more about Jesus as we are other Ph that came before and After. In the Qur'an, stories about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ (called 'Isa in Arabic) are abundant. The Qur'an recalls his miraculous birth, his teachings, the miracles he performed by God's permission, and his life as a respected prophet of God. The Qur'an also repeatedly reminds that Jesus was a human prophet sent by God, not part of God Himself. For more detailed information about what Muslims believe about Jesus, please visit the FAQ index page. Below are some direct quotations from the Qur'an regarding his life and teachings.
"Behold! the angels said, 'Oh Mary! God gives you glad tidings of a Word from Him. His name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter, and in (the company of) those nearest to God. He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity.
