Why do people find it okay to pick away in their nostrils? Everyone I see picking seems to act like their windows are blocking them away from society.

Although some may see it as disgusting, it's a perfectly natural act. I have no qualms about picking my nose in my car. I try not to in public situations, but I figure the inside of my car is a private place, whether you can see in there or not.

I think people who do this are gross. I don't think they even are aware they are picking their nose.
Amazing. When I came into the "Etiquette" section, I thought people would be asking what fork to use or the correct procedure for tasting the wine, before the waiter serves it to the rest of the table.
And, here I am, answering a question about nose picking.
Bummer.

If you had a booger factory of a nose like mine, you'd do it too. Plus, you shouldn't be snooping and peeping through other people's winows anyway. To me, that's far worse etiquette than nose picking-- especially if you are driving.

First of all, why is it ok anytime to pick your nose without a tissue... YUCK... !! Secondly, I too wish people would seek the privacy of a shut bathroom door to do their "business". Whether it be nose picking, or flatulation... I mean REALLY!!

haha...they tune out the world, and figure that they will never see you again and it really doesn't matter.
they are disgusting and have not a tissue or care in the world, and play with nostrils and pick teeth...

I love picking my nose and scratching other stuff in my car. It is fun. People should be watching the road.

This one time I was picking my nose while driving & I didn't have any tissues to wipe it on. I rolled down my window & flicked it outside!

This is a pet-peeve of mine. You see men digging deep for something and it is crazy how people think cars next to them don't see it. Just crazy. And yes a major turn-off!

the real q is why do u care what their doing. frankly i couldn't give two shits what other people think of what i do. if i feel like it i'll take a piss right in the middle of the street and if u say a dame thing about it i'll piss on u

i guess they think that because they are in their car, it's not as embarrassing. well, they are wrong. it really is sick! but i am willing to bet most everyone has done it or does it on a regular basis. i would be more worried about where they flick their bogger.
