Patience is the fruit of many trials and tribulations. It is earned, not bestowed.

I had a difficult time with patience also. The Lord put me into situations where patience was required, so I learned from that and I pray every day about keeping patience.

Do you really, really wanna know? Well the Bible says "Patience come through tribulation". So should you truly want more patience, just pray to God to be or become more patient... and if you're serious you'll have a load of tribulations or problems to help you acquire it... slowly over time. Praying for patience is equal to praying for tribulation. So if you still want it, you're a braver soul than I friend. Patience is also a fruit of the Spirit, for your information. God bless and hold on.

Patience is something that arises naturally when you stay in the present moment. Impatience is when you are thinking about what should be different about the current situation(e.g. the train should be here, my girlfriend should have called me, etc.)

True patience comes with complete acceptance of the present moment. If there's something you can do to change it, then go ahead. Otherwise, accept it. It is insane to fight what is.

This is much easier said than done. And it takes lots of daily practice. I still honk at slow drivers.

Try getting everything you think you want ever more quickly until you finally traumatize yourself with the trouble you cause. Then, you will be getting close to acquiring patience.

Comes in 6 packs at Target.

It's something that takes a long time to learn. I am a very impatient person...that's why I don't teach. You would need to put yourself in a situation time and time again that requires patience. Learn by experience.

It is a part of the fruit of the Spirit. If you are lacking in patience, you ask God to provide for you what you are lacking here.

I spend time with my sister-n-law. I can't help but learn patience that way. It's all about practice.

Self-control. Prayer and meditation helps. There are other things that help, walking, fishing, reading, listening to classical music... Patience is something we need to practice, it doesn't come to us freely, we need to develop.

Peace!
