it depends what you looking for.
i have a bose 321 gs that cost me a grand. but that thing kicks butt. i have it in a room with 20 ft ceiling and room is like 20 feet wide and 30 ft long. and i only have 2 little speakers in the front and that things just blows up like i have speakers all around me. its just crazy. i mean sometimes at night sounds like someone is in back of the room when you use those two speakers. and its so easy to hook up just 3 wires and you are good to go. and the quality of the dvd is very nice. or if you already have a dvd get the bose cinemate that will cost you $500. sound is a bit downgrade but if you have a dvd why waste your money....................

Hi.The best kind of speakers are the ones that give you the sound that you like.Nothing else matters.

you might want to see what the lease on your apt says before you start ruining your neighbors lives...(there are such things as noise nuisance law suits...tickets for breaking that law and jail time...)

talk to someone who sells Bose or contact Bose themselves. they are little but deliver; perhaps a bit pricey
