The warranty says that they will fix the problem. They may have to replace the transmission, but unless they can not fix the problem, they will not give you another vehicle.

You can refuse to keep the vehicle, and then if you paid for it in full, they will consider it abandoned, and eventually get a title for storage charges!

If you financed it, it would be a repossession.

Have the van fixed, and pleas let us know what a "HUGE HUGE band" is. I have been in the business for years and the only thing that fits that description would be the Rolling Stones!

HEheheheh....boy did you buy the WRONG car from the WRONG company if you don't want transmission problems.

Your only choice at this point is to just use the hell out of that warranty.

If they keep trying but can't fix the problem (if there really is a problem), lemon laws might come into play. Unless your province has a "cooling-off period" that is your only way out of this purchase.

Maybe you'll do your research next time you buy a car?

if you bought a new caravan you have a lifetime powertrain warranty on it... take it back to the dealer and have it fixed. probably minor problem anyway. and what is a huge huge band anyway???
