I am sure that there is probably some "top secret" studies going on that support your idea, they are always testing and studying new ways to make our military the strongest.

We feared that this was the goal of the engenics research conducted by the Germans during World War Two. You had a typo and wrote "an unstoppable force of god [good]..."
How would you stop these supermen if they got out of control? What if they started to see themselves as Gods and the rest of us as sub-humans???

Would you really want that?. What if there's peace time, and these "super solders" go off the deep end, who would be able to stop them. This is what Hitler wanted. A race of super solders under his command, doing his bidding. We would control all country's, and all would fear us, even possible its own citizens, after we decide we don't want something, and the government sends in the "super solders" to take care of us. I don't think so.

Sounds like some kind of Hitler experiment.....I agree with the other lady, sounds like a really scary sci-fi movie. And not to mention, if we developed that, other strong nations wouldn't be far behind with their own versions, just like everything else that's been created for war.

Brain not brawl is the answer. This is not the Roman empire, with the atom bomb and sophisticated weapons, how strong is the soldier is unimportant. One bullet will kill Mike Tyson as dead as it would kill PeeWee Herman.

I agree that genetic engineering has got such potential.There may be scientific research going on simlar lines.It may be secret only due to obvious reasons.
