Like to try and guess what their sin is? That's what my sister in law and her daughter do. Is this hypocritical? They are very big in their church and have all kind of Jesus statues and stuff in their house.

Yes it is WRONG! They are judging others. They need to "remove the plank from their own eye."

You're kidding, right? Jesus said,"whomever has not sinned should throw the first stone (at the harlot)." We should all follow his example. Everyone sins so it's stupid to make such a big deal out of it and focus on what good you can do and how to help others. "Don't focus on the sliver in your brothers eye and ignore the board stuck in your own eye." Ask your sister to tell you where to find these scriptures next time she does that and maybe she'll think twice. Ask her also if gossiping is a sin. Whatever.

Isn't it called gossiping? Judging? Something God hates? How Godly is that? Not very. Statues of Jesus and the Virgin Mary or whatever is idol worship to boot. Knowing what you know, hopefully, about the Lord, are they Heaven bound or what? Being a hipocrite ranks right up there with the rest of the judgement stuff as well.

I think that the first thing a person is to do before they go out and do this is to stand in front of a mirror and point at themselves.

They should contemplate how to is that their own sin is not as bad as somone elses. Isn't sin, sin?

They should also stand in front of the mirror after they return form their judging of others and point some more.

This is the "Holier than thou" type of attitude that people hate about many christians and it gives all of us a bad name.

Best Wishes

Having "Jesus statues and stuff in their house" doesn't make them "Good Christians". Religion breeds hypocrites . I imagine that this act of pointing out sinners in the mall is an act of pride...not so holy.

Everyone is a sinner, including your sister n law, and only GOD can judge us. Your sister n law and her daughter need to take focus off of other people, and put some attention on themselves, so that they can have their ducks in a row on judgement day, and stop worrying about other people.

It might not be wrong, but it's a great way to end up in a fistfight.

Your sister-in-law and your niece need to mind their own business and worry about their own "sins." It's not necessarily hypocritical, but it is arrogant, judgmental and presumptuous.

Yes it is wrong by judging others they will be judged just as harsh or more so. They should know it's wrong. There sin is pride, they have to much pride in the way they live and feel it is OK for them to judge others.

That in itself is a sin as far as I'm concerned. If someone wouldn't say something to the person directly, they shouldn't say it at all. You might want to be the one to confront them with this in a positive way and pray for them. We are not here to judge others and to do it for our own satisfaction as a game is demoralizing not only to the ones we talk about but to ourselves as well.

Everyone does something bad in there lifetime.
How can they judge others on their sins what about the good? They both need to rethink on how they judge people.Isn't it treat other on how you like to be treated. How would they like if people started to point out bad things about them.

Never judge a book by it cover.

thats just sad.

while other people at the mall are having fun with their friends and bying stuff and feeling happy your sister in law and her daughter are acting like bitter old women with nothing better to do than play bingo and complain.

if they want to spend their lives being that kind of person and doing that kind of thing then so be it. let them waste their youth away.

sad sad sad.
