Well, I know the church is His bride but it is a very difficult concept to grasp with our limited minds. I'm always wondering - are we going to turn into one body and be a married couple or is it just a representation of how much He loves us? I think we will not know till we get there.

You know I would have said yes 4 months ago until I saw someone preach this subject. I was completely ignorant of it, and so are most christians. Here is what the Bible says:
Rv:21:2: And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
The bride is everyone living in New Jerusalem. Not everyone there is from the church. I am not advocating another path to God outside Jesus, nor am I advocating universalism. Look at this verse:
Mt:11:11: Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
John the Baptist was not in the church. the church did not start until Jesus ascended in the book of Acts. When Jesus died He went to Paradise, or also known as Abraham's bosom, (read Luke 16), there He preached to all the Old Testament saints (1 Pet 3:19-20) and then when He ascended he took them to heaven. We know this because it is promised that when He comes back it will be in the same way He left. Here is the promise:
Acts:1:11: Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
And how will He come back?
Jude:1:14: And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Therefore He left with a cloud of witnesses to heaven:
Acts:1:9: And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Heb:12:1: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses...
Thus not only is the church in heaven but also the Old Testament saints and angels:
Heb 12:
22: But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23: To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
So your answer is NO.

Jesus will come back for his bride, people who live the way he taught the disciples to live and how the apostles taught. It says, without spot or wrinkle.

Yes we are the bride of Christ. The body is the bride. Why don't people understand that. Disunity?

Yes, of course it is but the people here in YA are from all different kinds of backgrounds and many of the Christians here are not very well grounded in scripture.

the bible says we are the bride of Christ.
this comes under the teaching of the ten virgins, the reason for this example is to be ready when He returns. because we no not the hour when he will come back.

Biblically, that's certainly what it means. But the 'church' at the time that was written, was merely the disparate body of believers, not some institution.
