Why do their commercials never portray obese actors in them?
They are all slim, healthy looking people?

I think because they want to show the viewers that even though its fast food you can still stay fit if you be careful in what you eat and that you won't necessarily get fat. A lot of restaurants now including subways are offering low cal healthy choice alternatives like raisins and apple slices for dessert instead of ice cream and cookies and juice to drink instead of soda. I think they are afraid to use obese actors because fastfood is always thought to be linked with obesity when in reality it has to do with activity level ,calories consumed ,and metabolism.

Prices will vary from one location to another, and from Franchisee to another. The prices at the McDonalds, KFC, etc. here in Eugene will not be the same as those in Pennsylvania, whether you are in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, or Lancaster County.

If you pay close attention, not everyone in advertising campaigns is mutant or just plain unattractive. Neither are most of the people who eat at fast food restaurants, so why would they want to target that audience?

Pure publicity... if they would show obese actors in their commercials they would be reflexing what kind of food they're selling at public... junk food!!!

I look around mcdonalds and I see the same distribution of people I'd see in any other location. A couple of fat people, a couple of skinny people, and a bunch of regular people.
Fast food DOESN'T make you fat. Eating too much without exercising does and if fatties didn't eat at McD's, they'd eat somewhere else.

Because they probably want to show that people enjoy eating at those fast food places, and they don't want to know that if you eat it you'll get fat.
