Catholics claim they do not worship mary, but there are 59 beads on the Roasary, and only 6 for God.

Also, Catholics make the claim that Mary was sinless. I have a problem with this, because it conflicts with God's word where we read that "Jesus is the only Sinless one".

Why to they insist to claim Mary can save you, when only Jesus can.

Does anyone get offended by all the Mary statues that are put on the front lawns of peoples houses. Why must you use statues? And why when one breaks it makes the nightly news?

I am not afraid of talking against the Catholic Church, in fact I left there in order to follow and study the Bible, God's word. I have truely been born-again, and preach the Gospel whereever I go.

However, since I left the Church they tried to scare me by saying if I left, Even though I am a Christian I will go to hell.

I DO NOT FEAR MAN, ONLY GOD. Don't try that religious mumbo jumbo on me. I am not afraid of Catholic doctrines, I choose the true Bible, and the TRUE GOD. Leave that Babylon religion.

The Catholic church says if a member leaves the congragation to become a true born-again follower of Jesus, they go to hell. Yet, they teach that muslums and Buddist will go to heaven if they follow their religions.

John 14:6 Jesus is the ONLY way, I dont care about buildings or organizations.

There are idol worshipers in all kinds of places, the Catholic church is not the only one with idols.

We are taught to stay away from people that worship idols, but people do not even think about the fact they are making idols before God.

Mary also had all her children as a virgin, I guess. She had several other children or the Bible is a lie. If the Bible is a lie, then there was no Jesus to be born of a virgin. If Mary was to be worshiped, the New Testament would have mentioned that fact. If the dead saints were to be worshiped as the Catholics do, we would be told to worship them. They have added so much to the Bible that you cannot recognize it as having ever taught the Bible. It is so sad they have fallen so far from the teachings of Jesus and the disciples of the first century.

As my husband often says, they say the Pope cannot be wrong so he chose St. Christopher to be a Saint. Then the next Pope that cannot be wrong accepted Christopher as a saint. Then came another Pope that cannot be wrong and he said Christopher never was a saint and the other Popes were wrong. When my husband was in seminary to become a priest, he chose St. Christopher to be his saint of choice. Thank goodness, he saw through all the lies they pass of as unfailing truth.

What makes you think that prayers to Mary are not prayers to God. After all the Hail Mary (actually 53 beads on a rosary) reads "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death." And unlike you and catholics Jesus and Mary aren't in competition!
Also after every ten beads not only is the Lord's prayer said but so is the prayer "Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever will be world without end."
Do you ever ask a friend to pray for you? I do and I figure asking the dead (Mary and the Saints) to pray for me is the same thing.

I grew up in a Catholic family, so I feel I might be a bit more disgruntled about the whole thing. I do not believe alot of their dogma is biblical, with that said I know some very nice Catholic people who do know the difference on the Mary/Saint worship. Depends, I guess. Alot of them dont really follow the church anyhow. Gods peace.

We DO NOT worship Mary. We ONLY worship God Almighty. We honor Mary, being she is the Mother of God. Mary was born without the stain of original sin. She was full of grace from the time of her conception. No one said she was sin free. We DO NOT insist that Mary can save us, only Jesus can do that. All the beads are for God. The beads are to keep track of prayers.I dont own a Mary statue. But the statues are like a picture, they are used in rememberance. Do you carry pictures of your children, your parents?

Now please use realiable Catholic sites instead of chick tracks or some other Catholic hating site. Ok

Mary is Our Mother. We do not worship her. Worship is reserved for God alone. You can pray to someone without worshipping them. It's like having a conversation. It's pretty much like asking a friend to pray for you. So next time you ask your friends to pray for you, would that mean you're worshipping them? Think about it.

Yes, Mary was sinless. She is the Immaculate Conception. Read the Bible. It says so in there. Why can't Mary be sinless? Would you want your God to enter the world through a woman with Original Sin? Why shouldn't He enter the world under the most perfect conditions, through a sinless, immaculate mother?

Mary can save you by praying for you. So can the Communion of Saints.

No, I don't get offended by the statues. I think they're wonderful. Most of them are very beautiful likenesses of Our Mother. The statues of Mary (or of any saint) are to remind us of whom we're praying to.

We love Mary. We love the saints. But, above all, we love God.

If you'd like to email me with more questions about the Church and Her beliefs, please feel free to.

In Pace Christi,
A.F.

I get offended when people talk badly about my Mother. Mary was good enough for Jesus and she is certainly good enough for me. I do not worship her but if I did I would still be doing better than worshiping yourself like you do.

If you have a problem with Catholics and The Virgin Mary then I would say you also have a problem with Jesus and I am sure he will enjoy hearing how you think his Mother is some old sinful skank who just happened to be in the right place at the right time because we all know the Father doesn't think enough of his son to plan ahead on who would be his Mother...You are so much smarter than Jesus and 2,000 years of his Church.

You are so misguided. Jesus is the only one who can save you. Jesus says, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Mary did not have original sin. She was not sinless--again you speak w/o knowledge. Mary was crowned as Queen of Saints by her son in heaven. She is still a HUMAN. She is revered not worshiped. No Catholic says that Mary can save you or to pray to Mary--again you are mislead by your protestant doctrine. That is a Protestant LIE!!! Satan has you and has decieved you into talking bad about the Church started by JESUS HIMSELF!!! "You are Peter, the rock on which I will build my CHURCH"--not churches. The Devil is not stupid and uses the fact of "divide and conquer".

Although Catholics are NOT supposed to worship Mary, it is true that a few little old ladies that don't know any better do so. Jesus addresses this problem in Revelation, when He chastizes the Church of Thiatyra. This is why I believe that the Catholic Church is identified as that church in the Bible.

And I'm not convinced that the 'Mary'apparitions aren't really 'Jezebel' acting on her own.

Maybe you won't be so upset if you read:

The Real Mary: Why Evangelicals can Embrace the Mother of Jesus, by Scot McKnight.

At my bible-believing non-denominational church, our pastor doesn't tolerate anti-Catholic bigotry.

I never get offended by anyone displaying their religion on their front lawns.

It is just as much their freedom of their religion, as much as it would be mine to have my cross sitting right next to a pentacle on my Pagan neighbor's lawn.

I think Catholicism and Christianity are very closely related to one another...and believe that Mary was TRULY blessed...I mean, she gave birth to Jesus Christ, and didn't have sex to do it. That's huge.

So, I can see why there is a great love for Mary, but I do agree, that there are some "holes" in each religion.
