Hi bob:

No, I am sorry but there is no blood test or any other physical testings that will diagnose Bipolar Disorder.

Bipolar Disorder is diagnosed by a psychiatrist. The diagnosis is based on all the information that you tell him/her and also his/her observations. All that information is combined and the doc will tell you if you do or don't have Bipolar Disorder.

Please keep in mind that only a doctor can diagnose Bipolar and realistically should be a psychiatrist.

Once properly diagnosed then you and your doc can create a treatment plan designed just for you which can include regular scheduled visits, medication, counseling/therapy, or any combination there of.

Be safe and be well
