As someone else said-ask 10 of us and you'll get as many different answers.
I'm a Celtic Pagan and I believe I will go to Mag Mell when I die. Some believe it and Tir na Nog and Avalon etc are different places.I think they are all the same place under different names.

Ok rule of thumb. Ask ten pagans a question and you'll get eleven different answers. LOL I kid you not
This depends on the pagan and the path. Some believe in reincarnation, some don't. I am torn down the middle with it personally. I lean pretty heavily toward no, but there a few things that tug at me.
Most do have some form of an afterlife. Summerlands, Hades, Duat (Egyptian) and then the Norse have about 20 places you can end up. All the gods have thier own hall and then you have your ancestors. It just depends on the path.

I can only speak as a Wiccan, but many Wiccans believe that since the natural world around us runs in cycles, it is logical to suppose that human life also runs in cycles of birth, death, and rebirth -- hence, a belief in reincarnation is common.
Many Wiccans, when they believe that the afterlife can be spoken of in human terms at all, refer to it as the Summerlands, where the spirit rests and is renewed in the loving presence of the Goddess and the God prior to entering a new incarnation. Some have very specific ideas about what the Summerlands are like; others simply predict that it involves the presence of the Lord and the Lady, and are not overly concerned with the details.
Pagan beliefs in the afterlife vary quite widely. Other Pagan religions have different afterlife concepts.
Hope this helps.

For the Celts, there's the various realms of the Otherworld - such as Tir na nOg, Land of the Ever-Young, or Tir na mBan, the Land of Women. There's a whole bunch of different areas, typically ruled by different gods. Folks end up on the other side after death (and, sometimes before that, if they can find the right ways in). Occasionally, some folks find their way back, reincarnating in this realm.

I believe in rebirth (being reborn as a different person all together) other than that i could not tell u much. What happens after death or in near death experiences seems to very from person to person and what religion he/she may have had in life, so the experience range from the main stream to the esoteric.
It is better to ask a question then remain in the dark about something you are interested in.

I love the answer above!
This pagan does not believe in an afterlife, but in the life cycle. I will live on only in the memories of those who love me, and that is enough for me.

12 lessons, levels of progression of the soul. If the souls fails to progress through the levels (learn and grow spiritually) then it will be reincarnated as an animal.
When the soul has learned all it's lessons, it is freed of it's Earth bound existence, and be free to wonder throughout the ethers, as pure energy.
Most of us recognize the Goddess' and Gods as essences of human attributes...not as actual entities!

We believe in reincarnation. When you did you will go to the summerland where you will await your next life. You will only get that life if you have not learned all the lessons you were supposed to learn in the previous life.
If you have then you will move on to dwell among the ancients and guide others.

i can only speak for myself. i don't believe in full soul reincarnation. i don't believe in a summerland. i believe that after we die, our body fades back into the earth and our energy fades back into the flow that leads back to the source. i believe that parts of us can come back because no thing is different than another thing, but i don't believe that a soul returns again.
