What is your opinion on the difference of your significant other saying "I love you" to you or them saying "Love you" to you? Is one more powerful or more meaningful than the other?

Ooo, good question, I never thought about it.

But I think "I Love you" shows more deep felt sentiment than just saying "love you".

Whenever you here an insincere version, like "John Boy and Billy's" comical agent, it's always like "love you... mean it!"

But when your trying to tell someone you truly love them, you look them in the eye and say, "I Love You."

There is NO DIFFERENCE between the two ... usually when a person is talking they 'forget' to say 'I' in many sentences ... try 'listening carefully' ... either you won't hear 'I' often at all, or you will hear it in virtually EVERY sentence ... in that case, the 'love you' would mean more than 'I love you' ... but ONLY in the case of your 'partner' being an egotist. If your partner is 'normal,' then EITHER way of saying it 'works' ... the IMPORTANT WORDS are 'love' and 'you.'

Well I personally feel that a "I love you" has a deeper meaning but Love you can be the same. Love you just sounds like a quick way to show your feelings...

"I love you" is definately meaningful, and "Love you" can be too. But sometimes it's not, it's like the person is just saying it to make you happy, or to be quick about it.

"Love you," sounds far more informal, and is what friends might say to each other.
