The Christian bible tells us about "suffering in hell," however not in the way we understand it. Most often we relate hell as a place of burning or swimming in a pool of maggots, and the like. However, hell is actually a place where God is not there: His presence will not be there nor will be felt. "Without God, we are nothing," the scriptures says. And since it is our soul that will go to hell (away from God), and souls are very much eternal (like spirits), then separation is for all eternity. Now how does one avoid being separated from God? The scriptures says about what Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father apart from me."

Yes there is a Hell. Yes it is eternal suffering. And people who don't know or accept God go there.

From a Christian stand point there is a "hell" but you physically don't suffer anything for eternity. Physically you just get burried and turn into a natural resource millions of years from now. You don't feel a thing though, because dead people don't feel anything.

Yes, I believe that there is a Hell. Those who do not follow the One true God will not join Him in Heaven, but will forever depart from Him to be in Hell.

As long as Hillary Clinton is still alive then there will be suffering for all eternity without end. Sounds like Hell to me!

Origen, an early Christian writer, teaches that at the end of time even Satan will be saved. I refuse to believe in a God who finds me competent to make a choice that would lead me to hell. Besides didn't Jesus ask "What man among you if his child asks you for bread would give him a stone"?

Why would God who is infinite love punish one of his creations eternally whom he so loves? If you have a child that is a murderer would you still not love him or her because they are your child? Would you want them to be punished for all eternity? You could hate what they have done, but could you hate them so much that you would want them to suffer for all time?
Try the website below. Mr. L. Ray Smith uses scripture only to make his claims. You can believe it or not but all he says is in the Bible--word for word.

hell is a place where you are tortured day and night. it's dark, and there is nothing good about it. it is total separation from God. The people who go there? the people who go their are the people who have not accapted Christ as His personal savior, and heaven't had a relationship with him. It is a horrible place, and I hate thinking about it, which is why I am on here trying to convince people that there is a God, and believing in Him will result in nothing bad. The good things here on earth are only a shadow of the things in Heaven.

As in life there are consequences for every action (Science buffs: check under Newton, Isaac). Why should it be different at the Judgment Day and beyond? Even Elvis knew: "What you do in the dark will be brought to the light!"
