From what I know sacrifices were only made before Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross. The sacrifices were to allow you to be forgiven from your sins. After Jesus died on the cross for our sins we now only need to ask for forgiveness, sacrifices are no longer needed.

How can God sacrifice something. - He owns everything & has absolute power over everything.
How can he give up anything?!
The story of the curucifiction is not true, Jesus peace be upon him was a prophet and was raised to the sky before anything of that happened
If Christ died to atone for our sins then this great act must have changed something about the way to salvation, i.e. that before the act people had a certain route to salvation and that after the act the route to salvation is profoundly different. Indeed this seems to be the claim at the heart of Christianity. But if God fundamentally changes the way he judges people in different times from being harsh to being easier, then this can hardly be justice! On the other hand, if there is no fundamental change in the route to salvation, then why all the fuss? - it doesn't really matter whether Jesus died on the cross or not.
Besides, what evidence do we have that Jesus actually died on the cross? We have no physical evidence, we have no accounts of eye witnesses, all we have is the hearsay evidence of 1 person. This sort of evidence would be inadmissable, even if the event

From the start of creation, mankind has wanted to do things his own way, and rebel against a Holy God. Mankind thinks that they are basically good people, and can get to heaven by doing good works. However, because God is Holy, he cannot allow sin into his presence, and in order to allow us into heaven, we needed a substitute. In the book of Hebrews, it states the following. "Without the shedding of Blood, there can be no forgiveness of sins." That is why Christ offered himself for us on the cross. His shed blood was the ultimate sacrifice. Those that place their trust in Christ now, no longer have to make blood sacrifices. The sacrifice that is needed now, is the sacrifice of love and obedience, since we are now his children by faith.

The thing I remembered when I start studying the bible is,God said the day that you touch the fruit of knowledge you will die, so when Adam disobeyed God they should die, but Because of Gods love to the humans he said his begot en son to save all of us that we might have the change to be forgiven from the sin we inherit and have the chance to follow Gods guidance through Jesus!
Why Jesus? because Adam is a perfect and after he got sin he become Imperfect and all of us inherit that imperfection, and Jesus is the only one that qualified to save us as a perfect creation of God!John 3:16

"imply"? The Abrahamic religions are all based on human sacrifice. (Abraham and Isaac or Ishmael and later on Jesus).
Many of us cannot understand a god who requires the shedding of blood to satisfy his own sense of justice. I cannot imagine myself committing a sin that I shouldn't be held responsible for nor a god who seems obsessed with retribution, but I recognize that others do and respect that belief wishing they would respect mine.

both statements are wrong.
Jesus did not die for our sins. They, the pharisees, killed him because he was preaching the truth which was liberating the people spiritually. The pharisees did not appreciate losing control so they set-up Jesus.
God is loving and compassionate. What ever a good parent does for his child, God will do more for us. God does not want us to suffer. Teaching of suffering comes from those self-acclaimed preachers who don't know God.

The wages of sin is death. We take our wrongdoings too lightly, but the truth is we deserve to die just from being tainted by this sinful world. We can't exist in God's presence if we are saturated in it. Because God is perfectly just, he requires a punishment for sin. And because God is perfectly loving, he stood in our place as Jesus Christ to take the punishment for our sin on himself so we can go free.

Can you think of something else that gets our attention quicker than pain? God no longer requires sacrifices, Christ took care of that for us
