I don't know how my question ended up in Canada Yahoo Answers... but I guess it can be accesible anywhere. I love cheese!!!

Come see me...I eat the crust, I love the pungent taste.
I especially like the mold in Blue Cheese.
Camembert is so squishy, but it's good.
I don't eat any of the red waxy stuff,
but my oldest son used
to like to chew it when he was 9.
I'm one of those CHEESE nuts,
if they say "Cheese",
I always think, why, thank you...

I eat it and it is fine. Just adds to the texture. No off flavors or anything.
God I hope I didn't make a faux paus whilst cheesing with the Queen!

The white mouldy rind of Brie is actually meant to be eaten, I find it adds to the texture and flavour.

Real gourmet people eat the crust. I do and it is delicious. The crust add taste. Try it with and without it and see the difference for yourself.

You can eat the crust but it is a mold. I just cut bits off crust and all.

I am not fond of the crust, so I trim it off, and enjoy the cheese.
