my lab puppy does the same thing! except after an hour or so of undisturbed sleep he starts to snore, grunt, kick, and/or tail twitches. he also sometimes sticks his tongue out a little and makes sucking sounds.

It's just your pup's preference. I've seen some cats do the same thing. Don't you have a fave position you tend to sleep in?

well my dog sleeps the same way.. its seems more comfortable to them. not all dogs are the same. we found our dog sleeping with its arms up and its legs open and toungue sticking out. but "everyone" or dog has their prefrence right? its ok though dont trip? nothings wrong with him

my dog does that all the time. I just think they like seeing and feeling themselves upside down.
