Well if that isn't shallow of you. Isn't making a guy jealous....oh I don't know....something you did back in grade school? You flirted? Yeah a lot of people do that. If you want to know how 'serious' he is, well why don't you just ask him. I mean its pretty simple.....instead of being childish and to try and make him jealous. Time to grow up a little. Sorry if I sound harsh, but I've got to tell you what I think.

Your husband has no right to forbid you to do anything. But ask yourself this: do you freak out if he has female friends? My advice is this: IF the lunch thing with the co-worker is truly 100% platonic and you have ZERO feelings for the guy, continue eating lunch with him and just stop talking about him with your husband. You like to work; your husband will either get over it or he won't. Do you really want to be married to man who is that controlling and misogynist?

First, making someone jealous doesn't show you if he likes you, it just shows you if he is a jealous type (jealousy is a control issue, not an attraction issue).
Second, relationships with people you work are not a good idea - they are at best awkward, and when it ends it will be a miserable work environment (trust someone that knows).

Nobody likes being played. If you want serious then you need to be serious. Jealousy is not something to play with.

making someone jealous works great in Archie comics but not so much in real life. you should probably talk to the man rather than play elaborate mind games or lead some other guy on.

you need to flirt with another guy, to get him jealous, but do it in a playful way.
Stick your tongue out to a random male co-worker and make sure he see's..... one or 2 things wil happen, they'll stick their tongue back out to you, or look at you wierdly, either way just giggle and flick your hair :D
