5 cc ( a unit of measure int he metric system) is approximately one teaspoon. Or sometimes you can get a syringe from the pharmacist so you can measure the ccs in a more accurate manner.

"cc" is a (cubic centimeter) also ...for taking medications... an "ml" (milileter) is equal to a cc. Most medicines come with a plastic dispensing cup on the lip. It has the measurements on the side of the cup. That is more accurate than a teaspoon but, in a pinch....

A teaspoon is close to 4 cc or 4 ml of liquid.
teaspoons vary in size slightly so ..."4 to 5" ml or cc

Remember to shake it well...and note if it has to be refrigerated....look for the expiration date too.
